About Me
I’ve always had a passion for health, wellness, and connecting with others. That led me to receiving my Master’s of Public Health and becoming a behavioral health coach for over ten years. After the pandemic I found myself drawn to meditation, yoga, and searching for ways to bring more balance into my life and those around me. I discovered reiki during this time and received training at the North Carolina Reiki Training Center in Asheville, NC. The balance and ease reiki has brought into my life is unfathomable. I am excited to share this energy balancing experience with others.
What is Reiki?
Reiki was founded in Japan by Mikao Usui in 1922. It means Universal life force energy (Rei - Universe and ki - energy). The main goal of reiki is to encourage and restore balance to the body. When the body’s energy system is out of balance, it can lead to pain, stress, illness, increased anxiety, and more.
